Emergency services

Our veterinarians are on call for our regular clients 24/7, 365 days per year - we take pride in being responsive when our clients need us most. Not sure if your situation is an emergency? Follow the link below for guidance.

Equine Dentistry

All horses should have a veterinary oral and dental examination at least annually. For horses 2-5 years, over 20 years, and those with known dental pathology, more frequent visits may be necessary. Decisions regarding specific frequency of visits should be based on the individual needs of the horse.

GasTROSCOPY

Equine gastroscopy is a diagnostic procedure used to examine the inside of a horse’s stomach using a gastroscope, which is a long, flexible tube with a camera attached to it. The procedure is primarily performed to evaluate and diagnose gastric ulcers in horses.

During equine gastroscopy, the horse is typically sedated to ensure comfort and safety. The gastroscope is gently inserted through the horse’s nostril and guided down the esophagus into the stomach. The camera on the gastroscope allows the veterinarian to visualize the lining of the stomach directly on a monitor.
