Dr. Krista Zahn grew up in New Jersey where she enjoyed riding and participating in local horse shows. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Lafayette College and graduated from University of Prince Edward Island College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. Following graduation, Dr. Zahn completed an equine surgical internship at Surgi-Care Center for Horses in Brandon, FL. Dr. Zahn is interested in ophthalmology, lameness and alternative therapies. In 2014, Dr. Zahn earned her certification in Veterinary Acupuncture and completed her certification in veterinary chiropractic in 2016. Dr. Zahn joined Dunbarton Equine in July 2007 and is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Equine Practitioners, The Northeast Association of Equine Practitioners, and the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association.
